we need to depend on ourselves as Palestinians more than just working Diplomatically.It is worthy to keep reminding of this lesson once and again.
As such,We need to follow seven combined strategies in the path towards Palestinian State in 1967 borders:
Strategy one: Uniting our people in creating Palestinian facts in the ground in area C, East Jerusalem and rebuilding Gaza.Followed by asking the international diplomatic offices in Palestine to support us in this regard. This will mean also building in area C and East Jerusalem without waiting for Israeli permits. We badly need to create our facts in the ground and together with our people and the international community to defend them.
Strategy Two: Initiate non violence creative actions aiming to build new Palestinian villages and infrastructures in area C and East Jerusalem ( I call it Non violence as a development).why then we will not repeat again and again the establishment of Al Karamah and Bab Al Shams villages that we created last year, and demolished by the Israeli occupation. Learning in this regard from the example of Al Aqaba village close to Jenin of preserving its presence in the ground in confrontation with the Israeli military orders of its full evacuation.
Strategy three: the second to be combined with sit-inns on the Israeli Checkpoints and around the colonial settlements, and other peaceful non violent long term actions to be repeated once and again till it get the required fruits.
StrategyFour: Boycott the Israeli products, withdraw the Palestinian workers from the Colonial settlements, and withdraw the Palestinian investments in the Israeli economy, and then ask the world countries to follow in the same direction.
Strategy Five:
Continue the Diplomatic campaign and the call for an international conference, joint UN organizations, and working for membership in the UN and all the other steps that President Abbas is already doing.
Strategy Six:
Sue occupation in the international institutions
Strategy Seven:
Ask for making the world as the courtyard of the Palestinian non violent struggle, including also to call upon Israeli Peace activists to join further than their participation in Balin and Nilin village weekly demonstrations.
Focusing on the fifth and the sixth only will not give the required fruits. In order for these two to work we need to activate the other five strategies. To do so,we should start by asking President Abbas to stay more in his country than traveling around the world. By doing so he will need to use his time in uniting his people, activating the Palestinian Institutions, solving Fateh Hamas rift, solve Gaza problems, improve human rights conditions and democratic practices, and initiate the plan for the mentioned seven strategies together, then start implementing them. By doing so the world leaders will start listening to what he wants, and will give him and his people new achievements. Focusing alternatively on begging the world through strategies five and six only, will give nothing without using effectively our people non violent struggle as the lessons of the first Intifada that obliged Israel to recognize the PLO tells.
